Brunching is definitely our fave meal of the day, so we’ve put together a list of our fave brunching spot in Manchester. These are personally selected and all have their own wonderful and yummy qualities, so we hope you’ll give them a go and enjoy them as much as we do!
A definite favourite with bloggers and foodies alike. Tucked away in the Northern Quarter this little gem is brilliant at catering for allergies / dietary requirements that come with being dairy free. The decor is light, cool and we love the hanging plants everywhere! The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is always well presented and instagramable!
The dirty chai is one of my favourite options and has a choice of milk options, almond, being my favourite for this one. You are spoilt for choice with the breakfasts, but make sure you come hungry if you want to take on the sweet potato hash! It's super filling, and equally delicious.
If you're looking for somewhere a little upmarket for your brunch, Neighbourhood is a must! The place itself is beautiful and set in the heart of Spinningfeilds. You can even enjoy your brunch with a glass of prosecco!
The food is beautifully presented, and a really good portion size! I hate being over faced! This was just right, I went for the poached eggs on a fresh muffin with wilted spinach and chives, and they were perfectly cooked, and tasted just amazing! You cant help feeling fabulous when you eat here, the staff are so attentive and lovely, and the table setting was beautiful! Definitely the most fabulous of my brunch choices.
3. Mackie Mayors
This is a brilliant one if your brunching in a group - long tables and plenty of choices to cater for most requirements. The buzz and atmosphere are great in here, and they have done a fabulous job with the building.
The food was just yummy, and I was stuffed, as they are definitely on the bigger side of portions! My only negative is, if you all pick different places to eat, your food won’t all come together. We were lucky and ours was pretty good but can imagine this being more difficult when it's really busy.
4. Pot Kettle Black - PKB
Perfectly located for a day out shopping, this little gem is tucked away in Barton Arcade just off St Ann’s Square, and in my opinion is definitely the best coffee I’ve had in town! This is one of my all-around favourites. No.1 for the coffee, its just delicious, strong and super smooth, and not in a giant mug, which is one thing I hate about chain coffee houses!
The brunch is Devine, wonderfully presented, and all the things you want in a brunch, smashed avo, fresh sourdough! They also offer a range of milk options, and do vegan cakes! If you’ve got room after eating, definitely try one! They are delicious! The other great thing about PKB, if you just want to grab a quick coffee on the go, they have a serving hatch on the side, which is really convenient, especially when you need a quick shopping pick me up!
My favourite brunch dish here is definitely the poached eggs served on oven bottom muffins and fresh curly kale, its delicious! It's a great size, the eggs are always perfect and washed down with one of their coffees, it is definitely brunching at its best.
Thanks for reading and hope you enjoy trying out some of these lovely places
